In the past... an 18-year-old girl... who left Riga, where she was born and studied... in search of work and experience... Started her experience as a maid in a hotel, continuing as a receptionist...
At 21 - the desire for change ... Soon to move to Italy and the beginning of a new and most important stage in my life ... Education and later work in fashion ... But this is not the most important) The most important thing is the beginning of our family ... The birth of our children and the appearance of beloved Lota in our home🐶...
"Ksyush, what did you do in fashion?" is a logical question😁 My work was mostly related to store management of quite big brands... FENDI, Jimmy Choo, Prada etc... But I started out as a salesperson...
In between we moved around the world... and now... 18 years later I'm looking for a change again... having left fashion, my new and true love is cooking... 👩🌾 Of course I still work... in another field, but work is still in my life... only now I have another favorite project... my blog...
A little history... In 2017 in November... being on a break from work, I really wanted to do something... and that's when I decided to open a page on Instagram... at first I did not really understand why and what to share in it... but love for experiments in the kitchen led me to think... "and why not?"... and so began my new Challenge... cheeses, Lievito Madre, Biga, pizza... the level slowly grew and so did my subscribers... so did we at home in terms of pounds))) Over time I went back to work, but my blog has become an important part of my life over the years ... and now I am looking for a change, new growth ... the new site is just the beginning ;)
All you will find here is a process that is primarily important to me, carrying within it the love for all that I do and of course for those for whom I do it.
This blog... perhaps not the most perfect... with silly mistakes and perhaps sometimes without much meaning, a kind of desire to convey to you my emotions... love... my love for family, home comfort, a burning fireplace... my love for the dough, for the morning silence, for the aroma of baking and morning hot coffee, for the sound of sizzling pans and bubbling sauce, and even for the clinking of dishes... my love for markets... their aromas and colors... and even for their noise... my love for Italy, its traditions and of course my love for Italian cuisine... for family feasts, noisy and very tasty...
